For over ten years, Butlers Essentials has been making natural products in the Toodyay area, Western Australia, with a strong, loyal and passionate clientele.
"I started out by accident, filling in time after the birth of my daughter in 2010.
I was home bound for the first time in my life, with our horses and with them, lots of flies.
Frustrated with the choices of chemical and pesticide laden products on the market, I decided to look into nature.
Armed with a strong interest in natural ingredients, I started researching and mixing - our first ever product "Butlers Fly Spray" was born.
From a friend to another friend to their stock feed, the product worked and more people wanted it - This was the beginning of Butlers Equine and within four years we had over thirteen products in our range stocked in over 30 stores across Western Australia.
Over the years as my knowledge grew, so did my love for Herbalism and Natural ingredients, always seeking for new ideas and cure, I decided to create products not only for horses but also for their riders.
In 2018 I opened Butlers Essentials, a small boutique shop in Toodyay, allowing me to launch our human range of products, indulging my passion with a range of therapeutic products, skin care, oils and extracts, balms and salves.
Unfortunately, a family tragedy prompted a change in pace and focus in mid 2019. With more and more visitors at my store, I sold Butlers Equine so I could focus on creating beautiful products, allowed me as well to start a degree in Complimentary Medicine.
My passion for nature is always growing, with it a bunch of new ideas every day,
I don’t know what the next few years will hold for Butlers Essentials, but it will definitely include a dynamic and fluid range of products that will grow with me.
