Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Project

The aim of SAKG is to engage and educate young children in growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing delicious, healthy food in the belief that these skills and understanding are essential to the development of lifelong joyful and healthy eating habits.

The program at East Fremantle Primary School will grow a great deal of the produce used in the classroom each week. The Fremantle Markets provides a supply of fresh herbs and vegetables each week until their garden is fully productive.

Kulcha is an integral component of the Fremantle arts and cultural scene, but more, it is an integral part of the Western Australian arts and cultural scene.

For Kulcha to provide its range of services with confidence into the future from time to time we do require community and corporate support.  This is such a time.  To this end we have launched Kulcha’s 100 K Club.  Donations of $1,000 or more will go a long way to securing Kulcha’s future and see the name of the donor on an honour board in Kulcha’s South Terrace Venue.
