If your local charity or event is looking for funding you are welcome to apply for our Community Fund.

Please check back for details on how to apply for this years funding.

In 2011 we proudly supported the following community initiatives:

Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Project

The aim of SAKG is to engage and educate young children in growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing delicious, healthy food in the belief that these skills and understanding are essential to the development of lifelong joyful and healthy eating habits.

The program at East Fremantle Primary School will grow a great deal of the produce used in the classroom each week. The Fremantle Markets provides a supply of fresh herbs and vegetables each week until their garden is fully productive.

Gimme Shelter

Gimme Shelter was the brainchild of local musician Dave Johnson. Employed to run songwriting workshops and a choir group at St Patrick’s Community Support Centre he saw the remarkable work being done by the professionals and volunteers at the centre. He also realized the scale of the problem of homelessness in our community and wanted to do something to help.
